Here at Brecon Blooms we are an Eco Florist and flower farm that specialise in locally grown and British grown flowers. Most of the flowers we use we grow ourselves on our cutting patch and flower farm here in the lovely welsh countryside. Any flowers that we can't grow ourselves we source from other local British growers.
Our belief is that flowers should be freshly handpicked each morning, every day, so that they reach you in peak condition. Hence, Brecon Blooms' flowers travel a fraction of the distance than those available from the typical high street. So our flowers have a tiny carbon footprint.
We don't have a heated greenhouse, just a polytunnel, a load of cold frames, and the changing seasons for nuturing our young seedlings and plants.
We like using flowers and foliage that we all know and love: sunflowers, sweet peas, larkspur, delphiniums, snap dragons, nigella, holly, pinks, chrysanthemums, euphorbia, tulips, daffodils, cosmos, and rosemary to name but a few. In fact, each day we use whatever is looking it's best as we make up your order! What's in Season?
Our flowers are made up and shipped within a day so that they arrive in peak condition. All our arrangements and bouquets are supplied with full care instructions on how to keep them looking their best. Please understand that we do not use chemical treatments to prevent leaf fall. Our flowers our natural products so some components may not last as long as mass-market flowers.
We are passionate about cutting down on waste - we use recycled, recyclable, and biodegradeable packaging. As 'flower miles' are a priority to us we only deliver to addresses within mainland UK
